Web agreed it is under powered. The fuel economy is not that much different between the twin 150's (yams) and the 250's at similar speeds. I have a 28wa vx, weight 7300lbs, holds 284 gallons of fuel. Hydra sports 202 dual console test. The only complaint (one i can live with) it is a dog out of the hole loaded up, once it is up though the weight makes it ride real nice.

I bought my 2390 in 2012. The boat weighs approximately 2750 pounds with an empty fuel. I am not familiar with the cost of vectors but the price seemed high. 4200 rpms burn is 11.5 at 25 knots (in flat water). Web agreed it is under powered. All new electronics, stereo, vhf. The Vector Series Was Around Long Before With A Less Aggressive Tumblehome, A Flatter Sheer Profile And Traditional Transom Configuration.
